1. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and that it is to be trusted as our supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
2. We believe in One God, Creator of heaven and earth, and that God is a trinity of three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a perfect life, and was put to death on a cross.
4. He rose from the dead on the first Easter Sunday, and ascended into heaven, where He is at God's right hand. He will come again in power and glory to establish His Kingdom.
5. We believe all people are sinners, by nature and by practice, and, therefore, under God's condemnation to eternal punishment. By His death on the cross, Jesus Christ took the punishment for our sin.
6. We believe that those who repent of their sin, and accept, by faith, Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord:
• Receive God's forgiveness of their sin
• Are adopted by God as His children
• Have the promise of eternal life
• Experience the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit.
7. We believe that the presence of the Holy Spirit should be shown by:
• An ever increasing reflection of Christ's character in daily living
• A developing awareness and exercise of spiritual gifts that God is pleased to give, as He chooses, to His people.
